Maria has been doing crafts all her life. It has been her go to activity when she needs a pick-me-up. She enjoys trying different crafting mediums including but not limited to cross-stitch, sewing, drawing, painting, papercrafts, and woodwork.

When she retired from the Navy in January of 2023 she fell back into her love of crafting and did many local markets selling her custom designs.

As a mom of 3, she loves to show her daughters how to create fun crafts using different techniques. Over the last couple of years she, along with her business partner Tex, has proved a space in the Cowichan Valley for other kids and adults to let out there creative side through Crafters Lounge!

Unfortunately due to high overhead causing Crafters Lounge to closed Maria has had to pivot. Not only will she carry on doing custom work but is giving the community another option for crafting....

Thus the beginning of Mobile Craft Parties by SHOP M!!
